Motley crue is a well known rock/ heavy metal band, that was formed in 1981. The band was formed in Los Angeles, California. The band members for Motley Crue are Vince Neil(vocals, harmonica and rhythm guitar), Mick Mars(lead guitar and backing vocals), Nikki Sixx(bass and backing vocals) and Tommy Lee(drums and piano). Motley Crue has been described as a insperation to several bands, some of these bands being Slipknot, papa roach, linkin park, and many many more. Motley crue has played over 30 concerts and tours in there carrer. One of there well known tours that was put on 3 years so far is called crue fest. They have toured with many well know and respected bands. Some of the bands are, Aerosmith, The scorpions, buckcherry and many many more. Motley crue had been nominated for over 8 awards and have won two of those 8 nominations. They have released nine albums during there carrer so far. There most recent one called saints of los angeles(2008). Motley crue has sold over 80 million albums worldwide. One of my favorite song by motley crue is shout at the devil.
